Watch2Night is a free tool that helps you find something to watch. You pick your streaming platforms and preferred mood, swipe through suggestions, and save the ones you like. There's no account, no sign-up, and nothing to install.
By using Watch2Night, you accept these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
As things stand today, Watch2Night uses no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, and no analytics platforms (like Google Analytics). We don't sell or share data with advertisers, and there's nothing here trying to identify or follow you across sites. (See "Advertising & affiliate links" below for how this may change in the future.)
The only thing stored in your browser is local storage (a browser feature similar to cookies, used to remember information locally on your device) — specifically:
Both are strictly necessary for features you directly use (remembering your own saved picks, not re-showing a notice you already closed) — under GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, this kind of essential functional storage doesn't require opt-in consent, only disclosure, which is what this section is. Nothing here is used for tracking, profiling, or advertising.
We separately keep one anonymous, aggregate server-side counter of how many times the app has been opened and which platforms/genres get selected most — this is a simple running tally with no cookie, no identifier, and no way to connect it back to any individual visitor.
Watch2Night's interface is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Hindi, and Polish, automatically shown based on your detected location.
For movie and show descriptions: English, Spanish, French, and German come directly from our data provider's own catalog. Portuguese, Hindi, and Polish descriptions are machine-translated using a third-party AI service (Groq), since our data provider doesn't offer these languages natively. Machine translation can occasionally be imperfect — the original English description is always the authoritative source if anything reads oddly.
If you use the "Share my picks" feature, Watch2Night generates a link containing only the internal catalog IDs of the titles you liked — no personal information, no names, no identifying data of any kind. Anyone who opens that link can see which titles were included; nothing else about you is shared or stored.
Watch2Night is currently free to use and does not show ads. Running the service has real ongoing costs, and to help support that, we may in the future introduce advertising and/or affiliate links — for example, earning a small commission if you choose to rent or buy a title through a link shown in the app, at no extra cost to you.
If advertising is introduced, our intention is for it to remain non-invasive, and it will not be used to build cross-site profiles of individual visitors or to sell your data to third parties. As with any change described in this notice, we'll update this page in advance — see "Changes to this page" below.
Movie and TV information — titles, posters, descriptions, ratings, and streaming availability — is provided by the Streaming Availability API by Movie of the Night, a third-party data provider, via their API. Watch2Night does not own, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of this data. Trailer links point to a YouTube search for the title, not a specific verified video.
Availability and pricing is shown for one of eleven supported countries — United States, Canada, India, United Kingdom, Australia, Mexico, Spain, Brazil, France, Germany, or Poland — automatically detected from your connection. If you're browsing from anywhere else, you'll see the US catalog by default. Watch2Night's data plan only supports accurate lookups for these countries, so if your detected country is wrong (for example, due to a VPN) or you're located elsewhere, what you see may not match what's actually offered on your local version of these platforms. Always confirm current availability and price directly on the streaming platform before making a purchase or rental decision.
Watch2Night is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or availability of the service. Use of Watch2Night is at your own risk.
Watch2Night is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Prime Video, Apple TV+, Hulu, Movie of the Night, YouTube, or any other streaming platform or data provider mentioned within the app. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Posters, descriptions, and other promotional material shown in Watch2Night belong to their respective copyright holders (studios, distributors, or streaming platforms) and are displayed for informational purposes to help you decide what to watch, consistent with how this kind of catalog data is customarily used and licensed for display.
This page may be updated as Watch2Night changes. Continued use of Watch2Night after an update means you accept the current version of this notice.
